Stu Allen (Guitar and vocals),
Marty Holland (Bass),
Sam Howard (Drums),
Cheryl Rucker & Shirley Starks (backing vocals)
This is an incredibly well-balanced soundboard recording, showcasing every musician in detail. In particular Stu's guitar and vocals shine better on this soundboard than on any other recording I've heard of him. Enjoy and share! Tell a friend!

Let the music play
It does seem strange to have JGB still touring with that name. I am a huge fan of the Hammond B3 organ with a Leslie speaker spinning. Melvin Seals is one of the best and played with Jerry in the JGB for ever. God Bless Melvin and the entire band for the spirit and the joy you bring.
Where else can I find more music from Melvin Seals?
Happy New Year,

Can you dig this?! man I am a Legion Of Mary and JGB fan from way back baby - this sound if off the hook? Sacrilege? Naw.....celebration of the music and sound is more like it. All of these 2006 shows are off the hook for the Jam sessions. Yeah - Our boy singin sounds a lot like Jerry - He was big Jerr's apprenti - and he is really goood!
Happy Happy Fat and Nappy - you need to download this for the TWLDY - if nothing else - go bananas! I registerd on this site after downloading for over a year - just to write this review.

Thanks to the notes below on who the band is. I downloaded the 3/3/06 show yesterday and was blown away....especially by the version of "Mission in the Rain." This is such a difficult tune to pull off successfully, and they do it. Stu Allen is the shit....he is the best Jerry clone I've ever heard, both vocals and guitar playing. Jerry is looking down with a big grin. This show sounds amazing. The energy and playing are top notch. Get it now!

Damn this is a nice performance and a nice recording to boot. Mission in the rain is so very hard to pull off (one of those 'sacred' tunes in my book) and Stu just nails it. Saw the JGB 4 times in the late 90's and had pretty much written them off due to poor midwest performances, but damn this current lineup with Stu Allen is just soooo nice. Never thought I would be interested in d/l'ing cover band shows but I just cant get enough!
